Treat Yo Motha Right.

I woke up on Mother's Day to flowers and breakfast in bed.  I ate three delicious pancakes in bed while watching The Office with Danny.  It was so relaxing and awesome.  Danny's dad Cary treats his mom so great, and I'm grateful he learned from him how to spoil someone rotten.  After finishing my breakfast, Danny decided to tickle me with a FULL gut of pancakes.  This caused uncontrollable vomiting.  The worst part?  I couldn't make it to the bathroom.  The best part?  Mother's Day was the last time I've thrown up.  Kind of ironic, I know but glad I'm over that yuck.

Aren't they so pretty?
I kinda think I'm getting obsessed with flowers.  I'm starting to realize they are one of my favorite things.  I love them on my table, in my yard, on my porch, in Pearl's hair.  Pretty much anywhere possible.  For Mother's day Danny got me those four flower pots and fern you see on my porch.  I love the way they smell when I walk up my steps.
Ricker made an amazing meal with help from all of the fathers.  He wouldn't let any of the moms bring or do anything.  He made Cher's favorite mango shrimp, bacon wrapped filet mignon, salad, and about 5 different kinds of fresh cut up fruit.  I wonder who that was geared towards??  It was an amazing meal, and my mouth hurt from eating so much fruit:)
I wish I had gotten a pic with my mom and grandma on Mother's day, but Pearl and Millie are looking way better than me these days.  The only sad thing about baby #2 being a boy is that I won't be able to buy them matching dresses.  So I force Millie into matching Pearlie like the cute little Sister Cousins they are.  But I am thankful for all of the awesome examples of moms I know, especially my mom and grandma!

The best part of my Mother's day hands down, was Pearl willingly giving me a ten second hug.  Blame it on pregnancy, but I almost started crying.  It was a Happy Mother's Day indeed.
I love being a mom so much to this happy girl.  She truly has shown me what happiness is and makes me want to be a better person.  I am so lucky to be surrounded by such good examples of how a mother should be!

Your house is just gorgeous with those flowers! keep them coming. I've always wanted my yard and house to look like one big secret garden. Like grandma's garden room. You know? Probably. Anyway, I laughed so hard when I read that throw up story, even though it's sad. Glad you aren't throwing up anymore!
