Mason Jennings

Mason Jennings came and performed at BYU for $6.  A 15 minute drive and only $6 to see one of my favorite artists?  I think yes.  Our neighbor Hartman told us about it and we couldn't help but spread the word to all friends and family.  What a deal!  The last concert of his I went to I gladly spent $25, this time I was even gladder to spend $6.  Our neighbors, Hartman and Hannah, took their two oldest girls. We went with Beetle, Mindy, Roman, Michelle, and Roxanne.  Then I even found my BFF Laura there! It was fun to have such a big group of friends there.
Classic Prom Pose

Mason put on an awesome concert.  He is so good live and I thought he had such a good blend of his old songs and some new ones.  My personal favorites he played were "Jackson Square","Be Here Now" and "Adrian."

Feel free to watch this video and feel of his awesomeness.

Party On O'Smarts!

St. Patty's Day came and went this year and, as usual, was awesome.
Instead of marching in the parade we opted out to help Rig and Livi with some fundraising!  It was fun to have a bunch of redheads around and especially fun to have Rangi and his fam in town.
We set up two different stands and sold "Irish Gear" to parade goers and participants.

It ended up being a really successful and fun morning!
Pearl might be getting too big to be held like a baby.
Yeah she definitely is, at least for Rigdon.
The grandkids had fun selling awesome stuff, but how could you say no to those faces?

I ran out of time in the morning, notice two things.
1.  My hair did not get "Treasure Trolled."
2.  Some people should steer clear of nude suits, especially when 12 weeks pregnant.
My mom's brother, Uncle Steve came to support the cause.

The Palomino Thunder came through for us once again.  It held all the merchandise like a champ on the way up and comfortably sat 5 of us in the spacious backseat.

After the parade we headed to Coachman's for the awesome 8 course salmon meal.

The next day, which was actually St. Patrick's Day Ricker and Cher had their party which is always so fun.
The giant Kneader's carrot cake that weighed like 50 lbs.  Delish!
We enjoyed all things green.  An especially popular item was this Ginger beer.
If you like Ginger beer, this is the best brand.

We enjoyed cabbage and corned beef.
We sang the traditional "When Irish Eyes are Smiling," and "Danny Boy."
As usual it sounded awesome!
Then we all exchanged our Green Elephant gifts.  Luckily things got a little nasty and I ended up with this awesome shirt pictured above.
Rhett brought his awesome gigantic sword.
We also played a little Bingo.

And of course the dice game.  There were a ton of fun prizes.

Thank you Ricker and Cher for such a great dinner and super fun party!  I love St. Patty's!

Life Is Good.

I have a bunch of short random posts I've been meaning to post so here they are rolled into one.  Looking through these pics, I can't help but feel how good life is.
Pearl has been loving being outside!  She loves exploring and especially eating dirt.

Proof that Luke Skywalker loves ribs.

Danny will kill me for this.^^^

Danny is the funnest Cub Master I know and he went all out for the Blue and Gold Banquet this year.  The boys loved it.  They had "Han"burgers and "Yoda Soda."  It was a fun night.

*Notice: Rat tail
We took the girls up to City Creek for sugar cookies and let them play in the huge foam play place.  They loved it.

The best flight attendant in the world took the time to go to lunch with us.  I love Lil!
We took the babes swimming.
Yeah this was her face the whole time.  She is obsessed with water.  It's kind of scary how comfortable with water she is.  She didn't care if water got in her mouth, nose, eyes,  she just kept dunking herself.  It was pretty cute.
Pearl chewed off another top of her bottle.  I know you're all thinking, give up the bottle already!  We're working on it.

I think I finally got a photo of Kashi that does him justice.

Pearl let me put her hair in piggies for once.
Thanks to Sara, these three cuties have matching Bulldog shirts.
Found out Pearl is a thrill seeker.

Pearl had a blast at the park with her cousins.
Danny is starting school on May 6th and we could find out the gender of our baby any day.  There is a clinic in PG that does it for free after 15 weeks.  We are still deciding if we want to find out or not.  I doubt we can wait, but seriously how crazy fun would it be to find out when you delivered?
Anyways, Life is good.
