A Poppyseed.

Rumor has it we are going to become a family of four this Fall!  I know this is so premature to tell people.  It's embarrassing really, but we told our family about 20 minutes after the "plus sign," showed up on our home pregnancy test and from there, the cat was out of the bag!  It seems as though the things that are meant to be kept "secret" get spread even faster.  I guess everyone was going to find out sooner or later, but usually isn't it supposed to be later?  Either way we are so dang excited to have another little one running around!
It still doesn't seem real to me because, besides feeling tired, I feel great.  Last week there was a night I slept 11 HOURS STRAIGHT.  I thought it seemed strange and hoped I didn't get mono from a drinking fountain or something.  Does anyone else worry about stuff like that?  I don't have mono, but a tiny poppyseed sized baby growing inside me.  Still tiring!  I found out I was pregnant at 6 weeks with Pearl. I didn't believe it, until the next day at work I threw up 6 times.  So maybe when I start vomiting regularly I will feel like it is more real.

Brutus seems indifferent about all of the news.  Probably because he is a dog.
Hands down, Danny was the most excited out of anyone.  It makes me so happy to see him so happy and excited.  He has not stopped talking about or texting me about our little poppyseed.  And he wants me to tell you all,
"Let it be on Record, that I, Daniel Scott Elder (who was also right about our first child) declare that our second newborn baby will also be a red headed baby girl."
SO there you have it folks.
(But I still say blonde baby boy:)
The second most excited person we told was the Ricker.
Baby Elder is due on his birthday.  Awesome right?
Since I hate my favorite things when I'm pregnant (chocolate, diet soda, perfume, people.., just kidding about that last one. People are cool.) I chose to indulge the day I found out.  This resulted in a half pound of See's chocolate and a Diet Mountain Dew from Hart's Gas Station.  And maybe a few too many squirts of perfume.
And how crazy that this little pumpkin head is going to be a big sister???
It's just weirding me out.
A baby in 2012 and 2013.
We will have two kids, twenty months apart both in diapers.  Things could get crazy 'round hurrrrr.
Bring on the fun, little poppyseed.

YAYYYYYYYYY! I seriously can't believe this! How fun for you guys! I honestly think the worst part is waiting to find out the gender. I am so impatient. Once I find out the gender, I'm perfectly happy waiting another couple months, but in the beginning when you just look fat and you don't even know the gender and you feel sick, its tough. I hope you continue to feel okay! Cannot wait for another Elder baby!
