| Our favorite boy turned 5! We celebrated by throwing a little carnival with Ricker's best friends and cousins. |
Ricker's party felt like an ACTUAL circus. It was crazy, loud and had 22 wild animals running amuck.
"If you're willing to abuse your family members you can throw one helluva party." -me.

| Benson and Seabass were cute to help out at the different booths. Mindy and Michelle did face painting, Rox and Millie did the fishing booth, my mom did hair painting, we hired a friend of Rachel's who is a balloon artist to do balloons, and we had a peanut guessing game. |

Our friends, the Barkers, were kind enough to shoot off their candy cannon at Hill Park.
It was the finale of Ricker's party and all the kids absolutely loved it. So did the grown men, cough cough BEETLE +DANNY. Anytime you can blow up something and make candy rain from the sky is a good day, right?? |

| If any of you know Ricker, you know he is larger than life. He always has been. He gets so excited for everything and its totally contagious. Everyone laughed while he opened his presents because he screamed out of excitement with each one, "This is exactly what I wanted!!" |
Danny said Ricker asked for a drone for his birthday. Ricker was really excited when he opened his gift.
...But it seems a little suspicous how much Danny loves it too.

Ricker loved his cake and so did I!
I thought about having a ring of fire and knew I had to call on the help of Beetle, the pyromaniac. I just wanted a small ring to light on fire and of course Beetle not only made the flaming ring, he carved a wooden base on his lathe, then stained and painted and put those stars on it. Will he ever half ass anything? Sheesh! Then I abused another brother by having Roman photoshop Ricker's head onto the Greatest Showman's body. It just turned out perfect! |

We are so blessed to have Ricker in our family. He's been the most tender little marshmallow since day one. He was born at a really sad time in my life and has continued to make us laugh and smile and feel so grateful he's ours. Ricker loves dinosaurs, motorcycles, eating cheese and running fast. He still asks for hugs daily and isn't too cool to cuddle his mom. Happy 5th year of life little buddy.
