Party On O'Smarts!
St. Patty's Day came and went this year and, as usual, was awesome.
Instead of marching in the parade we opted out to help Rig and Livi with some fundraising! It was fun to have a bunch of redheads around and especially fun to have Rangi and his fam in town.
We set up two different stands and sold "Irish Gear" to parade goers and participants.
It ended up being a really successful and fun morning!
Pearl might be getting too big to be held like a baby.
Yeah she definitely is, at least for Rigdon.
The grandkids had fun selling awesome stuff, but how could you say no to those faces?
I ran out of time in the morning, notice two things.
1. My hair did not get "Treasure Trolled."
2. Some people should steer clear of nude suits, especially when 12 weeks pregnant.
My mom's brother, Uncle Steve came to support the cause.
The Palomino Thunder came through for us once again. It held all the merchandise like a champ on the way up and comfortably sat 5 of us in the spacious backseat.
After the parade we headed to Coachman's for the awesome 8 course salmon meal.
The next day, which was actually St. Patrick's Day Ricker and Cher had their party which is always so fun.
The giant Kneader's carrot cake that weighed like 50 lbs. Delish!
We enjoyed all things green. An especially popular item was this Ginger beer.
If you like Ginger beer, this is the best brand.
We enjoyed cabbage and corned beef.
We sang the traditional "When Irish Eyes are Smiling," and "Danny Boy."
As usual it sounded awesome!
Then we all exchanged our Green Elephant gifts. Luckily things got a little nasty and I ended up with this awesome shirt pictured above.
Rhett brought his awesome gigantic sword.
We also played a little Bingo.
And of course the dice game. There were a ton of fun prizes.
Thank you Ricker and Cher for such a great dinner and super fun party! I love St. Patty's!
