Halloween Day

Why oh why can't Halloween be a National 3 day celebration?  No work or school or... other lame duties for three days.  The only duties would be finding 3 amazing costumes to wear everyday.   Since we (I) try (force) my new little family to stretch the holiday out as long as possible, we got to wear more than just one costume this year.  I felt bad making Pearl be Pebbles for her first Halloween but it was just perfect and only cost a total of $4.   So I thought I would have her dress up as Wonder Woman as well for one of our three days of Halloween.  I know I'm her mother, but I thought she looked hilariously cute in it.

 You may remember on a previous post, Danny was trying to, "power through" his 24 pack of Corn Nuts he bought from Costco.  Turns out they make a pretty sweet treat for trick or treaters.

 We went up to Danny's parent's house in Alpine to take Pearl trick or treating in his neighborhood. 

 I loved how excited Danny was to take Pearl trick or treating for her first time.  It was beautiful weather and she loved it. 

 She loved seeing people dressed up and couldn't stop staring at their costumes. 

 She also wanted to double fist all of the colorful candy she could.

 We were able to spend some time with Danny's family eating delicious taco soup and Pam's legendary sugar cookies.  So good and so fun:)

 Pearl loved Ry and Steph's new puppy.

Next we trick or treated to Grandma Cher and Grandpa Ricker's house where they had Jack-O-Lantern pizza and spooky music. 

And of course more treats for Pearlie!

 

 Then we went up to Walker's awesome Spook Alley with Beetle and Mindy's fam.  It was so fun and the Wassle was especially delicious this year!

Pearl played hard but was eventually one tired little Pebbles.  We were sad to see such a fun Holiday come to an end, but what a fun Halloween!  Hope you all had a great night:)
