The Swing

Fragonard's The Swing, has been one of my favorite paintings since I first saw it about 6 years ago.  It represents some semi sketchy stuff, (you can research it yourself) but it's beautiful. I love the movement and color.  Also, doesn't it look fun? I'm probably just obsessed with it because I'm a sucker for the color peach and the girl has red hair.  The only thing that could've made my summer better would be to swing in that awesome peach dress. I love to swing.

Since we have lived in our house, amongst other things, I have bothered Danny for a swing.

This Summer he built me my swing.  I love it. 
 I haven't missed a day of swinging yet.
The view is pretty too.

Aren't these girls so cute?  
My goal is to get a photo of every person I know on this swing.  I've begun the large task and it's going pretty well...

As soon as I saw that first picture I knew all the reasons you loved it, right down to the peach dress. I love your swing too! I have always been a sucker for a swing. You have the perfect tree for it!

RACHEL, I like the man in the bushes getting a sweet view of the swinging red head....I will be over soon for a swing picture (As long as Trent gets to come and watch :)

I've seen the real Fragonard painting! It's in this darling old house that was turned into a museum, it also does tea services and 17th dance lessons! You would love it, if you ever make it to London someday you have to go to The Wallace Collection, soooooo Rachel.
